Dimapur wins Nagaland Veteran Inter- District Football Tournament 2020

Mon, February 29 (MExN): The final match of the 10th Edition of Nagaland Veteran Inter-District Football Tournament 2020 on February 29 was played between defending Dimapur and Mokokchung. 

Dimapur won by a goal coming from L. Supong Longchar with Mokokchung scoring nil. Through this victory, Dimapur has won the tournament for two consecutive years i.e. 2019 and 2020.

The champion team walked away with a cash prize of Rs, 50,000 along with trophy, certificates and medal while the runner up won a cash prize of Rs 30,000 trophy, certificates and medal. The semi finalist Longleng and Wokha won Rs 15,000.

Special guest E Eshak Hessum, MLA & Chairman DPDB Mon graced the closing and final match.
