Dimapur, June 18 (MExN): Janvi Jain from Dimapur, who ranked 1341st in NEET 2018, has once again made Nagaland proud with her All India Rank-372 in AIIMS (MBBS) 2018 entrance exam.
A press release from Ajay Sethi, Executive, SD Jain Samaj Dimapur said this could be the first time anybody in Nagaland has cleared AIIMS entrance exam in general category, that too with 99.90 percentile.
Janvi has credited her mother Kavita’s motivation as her guiding force for her success, it stated.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) declared the results for its Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) entrance exam on June 18. Candidates can check their results on the AIIMS official website- aiimsexams.org.
As many as 2,649 candidates have been deemed qualified for the first round of centralised counselling. The cut-off percentile was 98.83 percent for the general category, 97.01 percent for OBC (NCL) and 93.65 percent for SC/ST category, the press release quoted NDTV.
Recently, Janvi's brother Shreyan Jain also performed well with 2173rd rank in JEE (Advance) -2018, the release added.
Janvi completed her matriculation from St. Mary’s Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur and later did her coaching through Allen in Kota, Rajasthan.
