Dimapur, October 30 (MExN): A historic Dimasa Heritage Bike and Car rally was organized under the aegis of Dimasa Youth Forum (YADEM) to re-visit and re-kindle memories starting from Khaspur on October 26 and subsequent culmination at Dimapur on October 29 followed by public reception at Dhansiripar village in the afternoon.
The Reception Committee, Convenor, Dharam Girisa and Co-Convenor, Ditush Naben in a press release informed that about 60 odd riders participated in the rally. The Dimasa historical ruins covered were Khaspur, Maibang, Hojai, Kasomari and Dimapur. “The very reason for riding back to Dimapur is a symbolic act of riding back to the past, from known past to the unknown: with a hope to recover what is yet to be recovered and known. There was spontaneous response from the public which could be understood by the reception the rally team got in all the places,” the Committee stated.
