Kohima, September 29 (MExN): Department of Employment Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Nagaland Kohima held a farewell program for the outgoing Director, Y Vandhanshan Lotha at the office multipurpose hall on 29 September.
Delivering his farewell speech, Y Vandhanshan thanked God for all the blessings and guidance throughout his career. He added that it is a proud moment for him as his mother is still alive to see his son retire from the service. He urged all the officials in the department to be sincere and continue to cooperate for the betterment and development of the department.
Speaking at the function Commissioner & Secretary, Anenla T Sato congratulated the outgoing Director for completing his successful career. She added that even though it was a short tenure he had done justice to the department. Also terming the outgoing director as a man of high calibre, she expressed appreciation for his attitude towards welcoming change wherever it was required. She expressed hope that the upcoming officers will emulate the working system like the outgoing Director and bring much needed change in the department.
The program was chaired by Joint Director, Chiden Yaden. Speech on behalf of the Department was also given by the incoming Director C Lotam Chang. Short speeches on behalf of the district officers were delivered by REO, Leiwang Konyak and Principal, H Alongse Sangram.
