Kohima, April 4 (DIPR): Payment of World War II Veteran pension, book grant, distress grant, funeral grant, marriage grant and medical treatment for serious disease from State and ESM Welfare Fund will be disbursed as per the following schedule:
Payment shall be made to the veterans only on production of Pension Book or to the next of kin on production of original discharge certificate/death certificate if the veteran is not alive (expired in this financial year) duly attested by Cl-I Gazetted Officer. Other payment shall be made on production of Identity Card issued by Zila Sainik Welfare Offices.
