Kohima, August 10 (MExN): The Department of Power Nagaland today informed the public that a disconnection message that is circulating claiming to be from an electricity officer is “likely to be a scam.” The Department does not send disconnection messages via WhatsApp, it clarified. According to the State DIPR, the Chief Engineer (D&R), Power, Er Moa Aier has directed the Executive Engineer (E) Kohima to file a case with the Cyber Police Unit, Kohima regarding the message. He further directed all the other divisions to educate the consumers and inform the police if a similar case arises, it added.
