Peren, June 7 (MExN): A joint meeting of the district Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) for Peren district was held at Deputy Commissioner Office DPDB hall Peren on June 7.
Member of Parliament (Lok Shabha) and chairperson DISHA, Tokheho Yepthomi apprised the meeting on how the department is utilizing the sanction money from the Centrally Sponsored Schemes, a DIPR report stated. Encouraging the different department in the meeting, Yepthomi said, ‘the working systems in the state sometime need to correct and improve. He remarked that the Centrally Sponsored Schemes strategies and policies need to be actively and honestly implemented.
The MP advised the Food & Civil Supplies department to handle their activities perfectly and give proper guidelines of the department to the agencies. He encouraged the Agriculture department to cultivate and adopt good methods of farming like other states for the benefits of the district and for the state in general to support farmers.
The MP encouraged the Social Welfare department to seek more centrally sponsor schemes and promote the activities. He further stated that RVY scheme is launched in the year 2021 and there are 36 types of devices for the citizens.
Highlighting through PowerPoint presentation, the Agriculture department said ‘the department is attempting and trying to connect different agencies to promote the product which is cultivated from the Peren district.’
PowerPoint presentations were presented by RD department; Food & Civil Supplies; PWD (R&B) Peren Division; Social Welfare department; Agriculture department; Power department; PHED and Health & Family Welfare department.
