Tuensang, September 19 (MExN): Combined District Development Co-Ordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting for Kiphire and Tuensang Districts held at DC’s Conference Hall Tuensang on September 19.
Member of Parliament (LS), Neiphiu Rio was the chairman of the meeting and was assisted by MLA CM Chang and Team Leader National Level Monitoring, Ministry of RD, Government of India, Dr. Ambuj.
The meeting was attended by the district officers of RD, NERLP, LRD, Social welfare, DPO (ICDS), PWD (R&B), PHED, LRSO, Medical, DDEO, NIC, ITI, Power, UDD, Agri, ADS along with the district administration and the police.
The meeting reviewed the centrally sponsored schemes and its implementation and its success and failures in the targeted areas.
Rio encouraged the delegates how we can best extract benefits of the Centrally Sponsored Schemes and project implementations to benefit the targeted areas as per the objectives of the projects and schemes.
Welcome address of the meeting was given by DC Tuensang, Alem Jongshi while DC Kiphire and Member Secretary DISHA, Sedevikho Khro delivered the vote of thanks.
MP Neiphiu Rio also visited the FCI godown at Tuensang.
