Mokokchung, February 7 (MExN): A meeting of the District Committee for Lighthouse School Complexes (DCLSC), Mokokchung was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall, Mokokchung on February 5.
A DIPR report stated that the Deputy Commissioner & Chairman of DCLSC, Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji welcomed the participants and highlighted some aspects of the project.
Avelu Ruho NCS, Deputy Project Director NEP-The Lighthouse NECTAR, oriented the participants about the project with pointers like current situation of the project in the state, Lighthouse Project and World Bank partnership, components of the project, selection criteria for LSCs (From L1 to L4). She also highlighted the roles and responsibilities of DCLSC requesting them to form a committee with SDEO/EAC as the convenor.
The introduction of the contractor, M/s Infra Project Pvt. Ltd. for the construction and Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) where any officials, department, Civil societies or Stakeholders can file their grievances through online (From the project Website) or offline (From DEO office through District Project Assistant, NECTAR or Site Engineer NECTAR).
During discussion hour, the members deliberated on electricity capacity, water connection solution and community contribution. The participants and members are also encouraged to support the project especially when files had to be forwarded through their respective offices for different aspects and resource utilization.
