Medziphema, February 26 (MExN): Distribution of Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs) under Medziphema Block was officially launched on February 26 at CHC Medziphema.
During the programme, ADC of Medziphema, Sarah S Jamir highlighted about the proper usage of LLIN and encouraged active participation of the public in controlling mosquito borne diseases.
Meanwhile, in his short speech, Dr. Moa, DVBO (NVBDCP), Dimapur, called upon the public to use the LLIN throughout the year and highlighted its Do’s and Don’ts.
Earlier, welcome address was delivered by Dr. Manyau Phom, SMO, Community Health Centre (CHC) Medziphema. The Village Council Chairmen, GBs, Ward Chairmen and ASHAs of the beneficiary villages/ wards attended the programme.
