Kohima, July 9 (MExN): The Department of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, Government of Nagaland today distributed input support for freshwater aquaculture and integrated fish farming under PMMSY scheme at Chümoukedima.
The scheme “Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY)” was launched by the Department of Fisheries; Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying; to bring about ecologically healthy, economically viable, and socially inclusive development of the fisheries sector of India.
The distribution took place at District Fishery Office, Chümoukedima, 4th Mile, near Agri Expo Centre.
The distribution was accorded for 2022-2023 (4th installment), 2022- 2023 (3rd installment- additional) and 2023- 2024 (2nd installment).
