Niuland, March 31 (MExN): As part of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative, the District Administration Niuland and District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mission Shakti, organised a visit to the local police station for students of Modern High School, Niuland on March 30 at Niuland PS.
Inzung Lungalang, ASI, and Ningsangyanger, LC, took the students through the intricacies of police functioning and highlighted various legal measures available to citizens, especially girls and women.
Kelengunuo Solo, EAC Niuland, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating that the visit is crucial for girl students to know how to approach police in times of need.
The initiative aimed to educate girl students about their rights and the support services provided by the police, boosting their confidence and empowerment, stated a DIPR report.
