Dimapur, July 15 (MExN): Dialysis machines for District Hospital Dimapur and Tuensang have been donated by the ICICI Foundation through the support of Fairfax India Charitable Foundation under Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme.
Three dialysis machines were installed in District Hospital Dimapur on July 14 and BPL cardholders can avail the service free of cost, informed Dr Neisakho Kere, Nodal Officer National Dialysis Programme on July 15.
The service will be available for general public at a nominal charge as soon as the hospital resumes OPD and other non-COVID essential services, Dr Kere added.
The dialysis machine in District Hospital Tuensang will also be installed by the end of July and will be made functional by August, he further informed.
