Kiphire, April 25 (MExN): The District Icon for Kiphire District SVEEP Campaign (Systematic Voters Education and Enrolment Programme), Litila Sangtam along with staffs from the Assistant Election Office visited students of Zisaji Presidency College and conducted seminar and interactive session with the Students. The District Icon encouraged the students to be catalyst of change and be responsible as a voter and know their rights. She also shared more on the negative practices and urged the students not to fall prey to such undemocratic and illegal means.
Further, a short video on election was shown to the students and after the Seminar, a special “Speak Your Mind” graffiti Wall was placed where students expressed in writings and drawings their thoughts and opinions on election. She is further scheduled to visit more schools in Amahator Circle, Seyochung Sub-Division, Sitimi Circle, Longmatra Circle and Pungro Sub-Division.
