Kohima District Level Science Seminar was held at the District Education Office, Kohima on July 14.
Kohima, July 14 (MExN): Kohima District Level Science Seminar was organised by District Education Office, Kohima in collaboration with Department of Science & Technology, Nagaland, Kohima in commemoration of National Science Day 2024 under the theme “Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat” on Friday at the District Education Office, Kohima.
A press release from District Education Officer informed that during a competition, participated by 8 schools, Jandeno Patton, class 10 from Grace Higher Sec. School, Kohima won first position; Khongya W Konyak, class 9 of Christ King Higher Secondary School, Kohima won second position and Grace Sote, class 10 of GHS New Market won third position.
The judges of the event were Temjentoshi from Mezhür Hr. Sec. School, Kohima and Khriemeno Nagi, Government Higher Secondary School, Jotsoma.
Earlier, welcome address was delivered by Patricia Vizo, ADEO, Kohima followed by briefing on the competition by Shosinle Tep, Programme-in-charge, DEO, Kohima.
Cash Awards and Citations were given out to all the winners. Participation Certificate and cash award were also presented to all the student participants and Teacher Guides.
