District officer urged to be vigil

Tuensang: District Planning and Deployment Board held at Tuensang on DC Conference Hall on February 11. The meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner Sushil Kumar IAS and was attended by Tohanba Chairman DP & DB Tuensang and Parliamentary Secretary for CAWD and Kejong Chang Parliamentary Secretary to Jail, Home Guard, VGs, GBs & DBs affairs.

Kejong Chang exhorted all the district officer to be vigil and work with commitment. He also challenged the district officers to satisfy the public in assigned work by staying in the posted stations and appreciated the presence of the lady District Officers in the meeting.

Tohanba stressed that all the district officers are the implementing agendas whose executions will achieve the purpose of the DP & DB meetings. He congratulated the officer who have done well and succeeded in the previous session and challenged the rest to cover up the loopholes in the coming session. He also asked the officer to uphold the professional ethic and morals of the office and ask all to work for welfare of the people.

Several agendas were discussed and approved in the meeting for government’s approval. Construction of DC’s Office Complex Tuensang; Construction of DCs Residents/Bungalow; Chilterns Park in Tuensang town; Construction of Langa Bridge under Chessore-Shamator Road from (NLCPR central assistance); Construction of Helipong-Chessore Road (NEC); Construction Sangsangyu via Nyinyam to Waoshu Village Road; Submission of Employee’s and Vehicle list for forth Coming MP Election duty and Construction of pay and use toilet at Tuensang Civil Hospital under LADP 2014-15 with reference to the follow up work programme of Governors visit to Tuensang.
