District review meeting held in Mokokchung

Mokokchung, July 3 (MExN): The 1st quarter district review meeting was held at Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Office Conference Hall, Mokokchung on July 3.

 

Dr Kibangkumba, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Mokokchung requested all the health workers to make the public aware of social stigma in relation to COVID-19.

 

Dr Tiasunep, DVPO directed surveillance workers to collect as much slides as possible for any fever related cases in order to check the outbreak of malaria. This direction was given in connection to the recent outbreak of malaria in Imphal, a report from the CMO Office said.

 

Dr Ayangla, DPO(UIP&RCH) Mokokchung further urged ASHA’s and ASHA coordinators to utilize the mobilization fortnight to make the public aware of the basket of choices for the upcoming World Population Day.

 

The meeting went in for review of different activities and grievances of the health units.

 

The programme which was chaired by Dr R Chubala Aier, Chief Medical Officer Mokokchung, was attended by Programme Officers, SMOs, MOs, NHM and DAPCO Staff.
