DIY workshop at The Vineyard School

Kohima, June 16 (MExN): To encourage students to take up extra-curricular activities and also to provide a platform for them to mould their creativity, The Vineyard School (TVS) Kohima conducted a three-day ‘Do-It-Yourself’ workshop on different activities for students of classes 7-10 in its school campus at Lerie, Kohima from July 13-15.   The workshop included creative writing, painting, photography/videography, carpentry, and stitching and tailoring. More than 100 students participated in the workshop, which had resource persons renowned Naga author and poet Easterine Kire for creative writing, prominent artist Vikhor Tepa for painting, Victor Pucho for carpentry, award winning filmmaker Sesino Yhoshü Dimasha and Megotsolie from Take One production house for photography and videography, fashion designers Eseno Panmei and Asibu Peseyie for stitching and tailoring.

  Students expressed their enthusiasm at the opportunity to try their hands on activities that they were interested in and hoped that more such workshops would be conducted in future as well, according to a press release received here.
