DLSA Mon organizes legal awareness programme

Mon, July 31 (MExN): District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) Mon organized legal awareness programme with Legal Literacy Club members at the school auditorium of the Government Higher Secondary School Mon ‘D’ on July 31.

M Moba, Retainer Lawyer in his keynote address highlighted the guidelines and activities of Legal literacy clubs. He encouraged bringing to the notice of Teacher-in-charge incidents of ragging, bullying of any other kind of injustice or atrocity of any nature with the students and staff of the school. He further spoke on constitutional rights and responsibilities.

K Topha spoke on Consumer Act and Motor Vehicle Act. He explained in detail the provisions of the acts.

Meanwhile, the Vice Principal Government Higher Secondary School Mon ‘D’ gave a short speech.

N Manon project Asst. DLSA in her closing remarks spoke the importance of the LLC and appraised the member to co-operate with the legal services authority. She also acknowledged the teacher in charge and student for necessary arrangement and successful attending the programme. 

NSLSA Public Relations Assistant in a press release stated that the programme was chaired by Tingkai Konyak PLVs. All together, 300 LLC members were benefited. Hongshen Konyak invoked the God’s blessing.
