DIMAPUR, JANUARY 31 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has issued a stern warning regarding unauthorized checking drives being conducted in local markets within its jurisdiction. Several complaints have been received about individuals, organizations, and bodies carrying out these drives without prior approval from the DMC.
In an official order issued by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Thunghanbemo Tungoe, the DMC cautioned that such unauthorized activities are being taken very seriously. It made clear that any individual or organization conducting random market checks without the Council’s approval will face penalties as per the relevant laws and regulations.
