Dimapur, April 6 (MExN): No vendors or shopkeepers will be allowed to sit vending on the road side in front of the NST Central Workshop, Khermahal on Sundays, the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) informed in a notification on Thursday. Anyone found violating the order shall be penalised with fines, followed by seizure of goods, added the notification issued by the DMC Administrator W Manpai Phom. According to the DMC, vending at the aforesaid location is in contravention of rules under section 389(1) of the Nagaland Municipal Act 2001.
