DIMAPUR, MAY 15 (MExN): The Dimapur Minicipal Council (DMC) has informed that all existing registered trade license under DMC who have not renewed their trade license and defaulted are hereby declared as cancelled/invalid with effect from May 16.
“Henceforth, all unregistered/defaulters of trade license can apply under the new trade license management system with payment of 1 (one) time registration fee and security deposit equivalent to 1 (one) year trade license & sanitary services fees as per the new terms and condition laid down for issuance of trade license under DMC,” a press release from the DMC stated.
Further, it was also notified that the office of DMC shall be undertaking physical verification and mapping of all shops/business establishment location under DMC jurisdiction and defaulters shall be penalized. It therefore directed all unregistered/defaulters of trade license to immediately apply for registration under the new trade license management system to avoid initiation of action and penalties as per provision of terms and conditions laid down by DMC.
