DIMAPUR, MAY 18 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed that the rates of Broiler chicken, both live and dressed, have been temporarily enhanced. The new rates are Broiler (live) @Rs 200 per kg and Broiler (dressed) @Rs 290 per kg. “The above enhancement has been necessitated on account of shortage and corresponding rise in the wholesale rate and present wholesale market situation,” a press release from the DMC stated. It however informed that the DMC reserves the right to cancel/withdraw this order at any time on normalization of the present situation/crisis.
