Dimapur Mission Higher Secondary School (DMHSS) Governing Board organized a felicitation programme for successful students of HSLC and HSSLC Examination 2017at DABA Town Fellowship on Monday.
For the 5th times in a row, the school has achieved the outstanding feat of securing 100% pass percentage in the HSLC exam.
During the felicitation programme, 19 distinction holders and subject teachers were awarded with cash by the School Governing Body.
Exhorting the students, School Governing Board, Chairman, K Temjen Jamir stated that the achievement made by the students today is just a beginning.
“For those who work hard will receive better rewards later," he said calling upon the students not to remain complacent.
Reminding the students that the purpose of one’s life is not just to relax but it is full of duties to be fulfilled, Jamir said, “As long as we live in this world, one has to face many hurdles in life which we need to face and overcome it.”
Further congratulating the successful students and teaching faculty for bringing laurels to the institution, he pointed out that the success is a combination of team work.
DABA, Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. N Tzudir delivered the dedicatory prayer while Mantok Konyak spoke on behalf of the award recipients.
