DMI St Joseph Global School conducts spell-bee

Dimapur, October 24 (MExN): With a view to developing language skills of students, DMI St Joseph Global School held spell bee competition for Classes I-V on October 24. 

The School’s Department of English took the initiative to organize the competition on a large scale. There were two rounds – first was the written round and second, oral round. 

Winners will be honored on the school annual day celebration, a press release from the school added. As regards the competition, Principal T Backiyaraj opined that students should cultivate the habit of reading newspapers, magazines, novels, etc, so that they will be able to spell the words correctly, as the spelling will get imprinted on the minds of the children through repeated reading practices. Administrator Stella congratulated the winners of the competition.
