DIMAPUR, JUNE 3 (MExN): All Heads of Offices in Dimapur district will also be considered to be holding additional charge of the Head of Office of their respective departments for Chumoukedima district for the time being. This was informed in a notice from the Nagaland Home Department.
It stated that various departments are currently still in the process of making their District Offices functional in a suitable manner in Chümoukedima district, and the same is likely to take some more time.
The notice informed that this decision was taken in the interest of continuity, and to ensure that the various services being provided by the departments in the newly created district of Chümuokedima proceed in an unhindered manner, and to further cover up the period till the district offices become suitably functional.
The Heads of Offices concerned have been directed to regularly report to the Deputy Commissioner of Chümoukedima whenever required to do so for the activities being undertaken pertaining to the department in the jurisdiction of the district of Chümoukedima. They have also been directed to provide services as a part of any committee/team etc which may be required to be formed/constituted as per any instructions of the government for Chümoukedima district.
