DIMAPUR, APRIL 11 (MExN): Dimapur defeated Zuneboto by 130 runs in a Group A encounter, which was the opening match of the Nagaland under 23 Inter District Cricket Tournament, organised by the Nagaland Cricket Association at NCA Stadium Sovima.
Dimapur won the toss and elected to bat and scored 178 runs while losing 9 wickets in 25 overs. Zunheboto meanwhile were bowled out for 48 runs in 15.2 overs.
While in another Group A match, Peren defeated Mon by 3 runs in an exciting game. Peren snatched victory from Mon team by taking last four Mon wickets giving away only one run. Mon won the toss and decided to field first, restricting Peren to 148 runs for 5 in 25 overs. Mon were bowled out for 145 runs in 24.1 overs.
Matches scheduled for Thursday are Dimapur vs Mon and Peren vs Zunheboto
