Dimapur, December 1 (MExN): The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has condemned the leakage of Class 9 examination papers from PM Shri Government High School Burma Camp, stating that the incident has undermined academic integrity and betrayed the trust of students.
In a statement, DNSU said the leakage “has gravely undermined the integrity of the academic system and betrayed the trust of thousands of sincere students,” adding that “such a reprehensible act strikes at the very foundation of educational fairness and ethics.”
The Union demanded strict action against the teacher accused of involvement in the malpractice, including termination and legal proceedings. It stated that “no individual entrusted with the sacred duty of educating the youth should abuse their responsibility for personal or vested interests,” and insisted that those responsible “must face the full consequences of their actions without delay.”
DNSU also issued a warning to tutors, teachers, and private institutions against favoritism or deliberate paper leaks to benefit particular students. It stated that it “will remain vigilant and will not hesitate to expose and take action against any such unethical practices that erode academic discipline and fairness.”
The Union acknowledged the role of NSCN (IM) UT1 in uncovering the case, noting its appreciation for “its instrumental role in uncovering and exposing this malpractice.” DNSU called for continued collective efforts to uphold transparency and integrity within the education system across Nagaland.
Assuring support to students and the public, DNSU said it “will continue to advocate for fairness, justice, and accountability in all educational affairs.”
