Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): The Dimapur Naga Students' Union (DNSU) has issued an appeal urging all government employees to maintain punctuality and dedication in their official duties. The DNSU, in a press release, emphasized that serving in Dimapur is a privilege that comes with significant responsibilities and accountability.
To uphold the highest standards of governance, the DNSU informed that it will primarily focus on three key areas: Education, Health, and Development. The union plans to conduct regular surprise inspections of all government offices within and around Dimapur, with a special emphasis on district hospitals, educational institutions, and development boards.
The DNSU said that it aims to ensure that the district hospitals provide quality healthcare services, eradicate proxy teaching in educational institutions to guarantee quality education, and promote transparency and accountability in development projects managed by development boards.
The union added that it is committed to promoting excellence in governance and education and expects full cooperation from all stakeholders.
It meanwhile cautioned that any defaulters will face strict legal action. "We believe that our collective efforts will lead to a more efficient, effective, and responsive governance system, ultimately benefiting the citizens of Dimapur," stated the DNSU.
