Dimapur, October 4 (MExN): Expressing resentment towards the Government of Nagaland for turning a “deaf ear” to the public and civil societies, the Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) today stated that it “firmly stands and supports” the call for immediate CBI enquiry in the fuel adulteration issue. A press release from the DNSU informing this maintained that the demand for CBI enquiry is in “the interest of the public”. A Coordinating Committee on Fuel Adulteration – comprising representatives from several civil societies – had in September last served a 15 day ultimatum to the Nagaland State Government to bring in the CBI for thorough investigation on the fuel adulteration issue.
