Dimapur, August 1 (MExN): The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has informed Hostel Managements/Proprietors to adhere to the joined resolution of the union and the hostel proprietors/management, which was passed during a join meeting on November, 2005, at DNSU Office. The union reminding the hostel proprietors/managements on mess fee and directed the hostels not to charge mess fees on the students during summer and winter vacation and also that the mess fee shall be exempted/refunded if the students are on leave for more than 7 days consecutively.
The union has also directed the proprietor/manager or any hostel not to run boys and girls hostel under the same apartment but they can do so in separate apartments. The management can run combined boys and girls hostel under prescribed students age, i.e. boys below 10 years and girls admissible upto collage level, informed a DNSU release.
The union has also appealed all the hostel management and the general public to be aware and well informed of the above mentioned resolution in order to maintain peaceful and congenial atmosphere by adhering to the standing resolution.
