DIMAPUR, AUGUST 28 (MExN): The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) on Wednesday said there have been instances of unscrupulous individuals impersonating their organization to solicit funds and has expressed strong disapproval of such actions.
In a press release, the DNSU issued a stern warning that strict action would be taken against those persons.
The DNSU has also highlighted concerns over external organizations coming into the district and forcing businesses to make donations. In light of these practices, the Union empathized with the business community who are already burdened by excessive taxation and appealed to all organizations to avoid imposing further financial strain on them.
In a bid to protect the business community, DNSU has called on these external groups to cease their donation drives in Dimapur and redirect their efforts towards supporting students in their own regions.
