Dimapur, August 12 (MExN): As part of its golden jubilee scheduled to be celebrated in 2017, Diphupar Naga Youth Organisation (DNYO) organised a tree plantation programme on August 12. The programme was launched at Diphupar Village Council hall.
Lanutoshi, Chairman, Diphupar Village Council and Dr. Lima Jamir, Convener, Golden Jubilee Planning Board spoke on the occasion.
The speakers encouraged the youth to take up tree plantation drive more extensively for environmental protection, and also to create awareness among the people for cleaner and safer environment. They also thanked the DNYO for taking up the initiative and also encouraged the other organisations for similar actions.
