
Hindi Diwas celebrated at Kiphire

The Hindi Institute Kiphire today celebrated Hindi Diwas with Sethricho ADC DMA SSA Kiphire as chief guest at the Hopongkyu Memorial hall which was attended by parent, students and well wishers.
Speaking at the occasion as chief guest Sethricho asked the students present not to narrow the vision of taking up Hindi as a career only for teaching profession but also to go further as research scholar, lecturer and also writers in Hindi language.
Stressing the importance of Hindi in the globe the chief guest said, “Hindi is the second highest spoken language in the globe and is also spoken worldwide in many countries” and asked the students to feel proud to be a Hindi student.
The chief guest also said, India being a diverse country has multi religion, multi society and multi culture and in such type of society Language such as Hindi is an important tool to bring and united us together.
Asking the student to reflect and ponder on as to why one is a Hindi student, the chief guest said, “the world is changing very fast and we are living in competitive world and the only solution to survive is to work hard, discipline oneself and also to strive foreword with dedication and more commitment.”
Pepehtnung Lotha, Swachh Mission Co-ordinator who also spoke on the occasion asked the students to inculcate civic sense as students and asked them to organize social work at least once a month in the town so that the neighborhood and the town is clean. Principal Hindi institute spoke on the significant of the day while Kiren Devi spoke on the importance of Hindi in the present context. Special song, cultural displays were the other highlight of the day.
