DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 3 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has informed that due to incessant rain, many parts of the national highway roads have been affected and taking advantage of this, some shops/traders were selling essential commodities and other hardware items like cement, sand & bricks etc at exorbitant prices. In this connection, the KMC administrator, Kovi Meyase has asked all shop keeper/trader to strictly sell items as per the prescribe rates and warned that action would be initiated against the defaulters. It also urged the public to report to the KMC for any item being sold beyond the fixed price/rate.
