DoLR Tuensang distributes coffee pulper machines

In commemoration of the 75th anniversary of India’s independence (Azad Ka Amrit Mahotav), the Department of Land Resources (DoLR), Tuensang distributed coffee pulper machine which was funded by North East Council to 15 coffee farmers of Tuensang and Noklak. It was handed over by the Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS at Town Hall, Tuensang on September 16.

The DC Tuensang called upon the farmers to make good use of the machine which should uplift the economy. He appreciated the department for taking keen interest for the welfare of the farming community by initiating such position steps. 

Puthoto Natso, DPO while handing over the machine encouraged the farmers to take good care of activities initiated by the department and said, “Coffee is going to help boost the economy of the farming community.” He also highlighted on the coffee plantation undertaken by the department in Tuensang district.
