DoLR Tuensang observes Vigilance week

Tuensang, October 30 (MExN): The Department of Land Resources (DoLR), Tuensang, observed vigilance week at St. John School with Lipichem, Assistant Project officer LRD addressing the students on October 30.
Addressing the students, he said, “the world is facing two major problems, corruption and climate change and it is the responsibility of all to fight these issues collectively.”
Sharing on the theme “Integrity- a way of life” he said, “Integrity should be the daily battle where we have to live with it to see just society.” He also said that “as students we have to maintain integrity in exam and even while applying for scholarship we have to be truthful and honest in our affidavit.”
He also handed over the prizes to Kushen Lemba, Thiahaubou and Nokyanla for securing first, second and third position respectively in the essay competition held on the theme.
Victoria Quinger, Watershed Development Team member led the pledge. Fr Sivi George, Principal St. John School welcomed the gathering and also express gratitude to the department for choosing the school for the programme.
The department also conducted a series of programme throughout the week by handing out leaflet, sensitising staffs on the theme etc.
