Kohima, September 14 (MExN): Bosco Gym was inaugurated on Friday at Don Bosco College Kohima, marking a significant step towards promoting the health and fitness of its students and faculty.
The opening ceremony was graced by Avilie Zuyie, a National & International Arm Wrestling Gold Medalist, Champion- Team winner (Pro Panja League Season 2 ,2025) and representatives from Fusion Fitness gym.
Earlier, welcome address delivered by Fr. Dr. Tious Varghese, Principal of DBCK who highlighted the Gym’s core purpose to promote health and fitness of students and faculties, and to serve as a mental training facility fostering discipline and resilience emphasising on the colleges’ commitment to holistic development .
The attendees were given a comprehensive tour of the facilities, equipments, their uses and safety guidelines demonstrated by Fusion Fitness team including Vizovolie Victor Rame ( Proprietor &Head Trainer), LC Sekhose (Brand Ambassador), Pusing H Longulam (Trainer), Meguo Yase and Seyie Tsükhrü).
The opening of the Bosco Gym is expected to enhance the health and wellbeing of both the students and faculties of DBCK, seeking to create a conducive environment for achieving fitness goals, according to DBCK Media Cell.
