Don Bosco College students visits NU Mereima Campus

Kohima, June 12 (MExN): Department of Political Science, Don Bosco College, Kohima visited Nagaland University, Mereima Campus, Kohima on June 9 as part of co-curricular activity of the college.  

The team first visited the University library, where the Asst. Librarian Lucy briefed the students on the history of library and library usages and further welcomed the students to use the University library. Then the students were enlightened by Asst. Prof. Bordoloi for admission to MBA course in NU after their graduation, according to a press release.  

It was followed by lunch at the University playground, where the teachers and students shared their respective home-made delicacies. The students also visited the museum of Department of Geology, NU.  

Earlier, Dr. Aokumla, Asst. Prof., Department of History and Archeology, NU pronounced the welcome address. The aims and objectives of the trip was delivered by Kezenou, HoD, Department of Political Science, Don Bosco College while Prof. Buno, Academic & Administration Incharge, Kohima Campus (NU) exhorted the students and also enlightened about various MA courses eligible for Political Science Honours students for admission after graduation. 

Short presentations were delivered by Dr. Bordoloi, Asst. Prof., Department of Management, NU on Cashless Economy, followed by a lecture from Dr. Mimi Ezung Associate Prof., Department of Linguistics, NU on the topic Language, Culture and Identity.
