Don’t give up!! Believe

We are living in a dog eat world. This is the age of the GOBBLERS. Where competing with the Joneses has become a priority. Where success seems to be measured by what one owns. We are inadvertently getting caught in the race of “the appliance”. Nowadays, it’s not about the haves and the have-nots. There is a new hybrid; it’s about the HAVE ALLS and the HAVE NULLS.
There is a call for the forlorn. To those who have been wronged. To those who have been misjudged and abandoned. To those who have been depressed at being left out and left behind. This is a call to those who have tried and have been found wanting.

Have you ever felt that in spite of trying out all the possible formulations, in spite of covering all avenues and plugging all the loopholes, your efforts have come to naught? Dejected, Rejected, Abandoned? Ridiculed by presumptions people? Experienced condescending treatment? Sidelined by your own loved ones? Has your sanctuary been uprooted? You find yourself on fallow ground or perhaps you are in that desert place where all is barren. You’re caught in the space between, in that void, that vacuum. The drudgery and mundane ness of your life has made you weary of yourself. You’re at the tipping point, at the brink, on the Edge…..

You find yourself clinging on to your dreams. Groping your way in the dark amidst the silent tears- seeking that glimmer, flicker and shimmer of light. Don’t give up! That little faith. Yes, that belief, that hope is your Redemption.

In that desert place, that space. That place of no mans recognition and no mans approval, surely your heart was tested as to whom you will serve. God has seen our motives. He has a plan. Even in our weakness, He will manifest His strength. Take heart for He is the ‘God of the impossible’. For He says, in Isaiah 41: 18, ‘I will open rivers in high places and fountains in the midst of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water and the dry land springs of water’. Mans recognition is fleeting like vapour, its evanescent. People tend to judge on the measure of charisma, of influence and prosperity. As believers, we ought to know that God’s judgments and discernments are unlike man’s. God knows the motives inside and to Him, that’s the measure. Take heart those of you who have been wronged for you’re promised a mighty RESTORATION.

Don’t give up! Don’t let the arrows of the enemy make you loose sight of your purpose. The hard places we are put in serves only to reveal the ‘naked face’ of our so-called friends and tests who we truly believe in.

We are to press on. All we have to do is just let go. Take it to God. He protects. He is our fortress. For only if we loose this life, will we find true purpose. Vindication will be ours. Don’t give up, move on. Forgive those who have wronged you and misjudged you. People who judge others are more or less bored. We have been promised in Isaiah 54: 70, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue which rises against in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their righteousness is from me”. Remember, even Jesus was betrayed by someone He considered a friend. Someone who broke bread with Him. (PSALM 41: 9)

Don’t give up, take heart. With God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment. (Luke 1: 37)
