Kohima, September 29 (MExN): The Directorate of School Education (DoSE), Nagaland, has conducted a two-day In-House Orientation for the newly recruited Graduate Teachers (Maths/Science) from September 24 to 25 last.

The programme was attended by 73 Science Graduate Teachers, 51 Maths Graduate Teachers and 5 Post Graduate Teachers.

The orientation covered key topics including the Introduction to Nagaland Government Servants Conduct Rules 1968 by Andreas (Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of Nagaland), Nagaland Education Service Rules 2017, Maintenance of Service Books/APAR by Raymond Vizo (SA, GoN), Teaching Methodology of Science in Classroom by SCTE, use of SMILE App and TAMS by NECTAR Team, social-emotional learning/inclusive education by Dream A Dream, RTE Act 2009/NEP 2020 by SCERT, and basic accounts matters/pay fixation by Accounts Section DoSE.

Keynote address was delivered by Tinumayang, Additional Director and Deenabandhu Panda, Additional Director.

Imtisangla, Assistant Director and Asa Neikha, Assistant Director, chaired the sessions.
