DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 13 (MExN): Doulos Theological College celebrated its 13th Foundation Day with a special event that included a Thanksgiving Prayer for its recent accreditation by the Asia Theological Association (ATA). The ceremony was held on September 11.
The program, chaired by Mulato T. Kiho, featured Takowati, Assistant Director of the Directorate of School Education, Nagaland, as the guest speaker. The event began with the college anthem, followed by scripture readings and an invocation.
Dr. Onen Jamir, Founder President of Doulos Theological College, welcomed attendees and shared insights into the college's history. The choir delivered a moving rendition of "A Song of Thanksgiving."
In his address, Takowati emphasized the importance of living a moral and upright life and applying the teachings learned. Watijungla Jamir, Academic Dean, offered congratulations on behalf of the college's well-wishers.
Rev. Dr. Nuklu Lkr, Principal, led the Thanksgiving Prayer, acknowledging the college’s accreditation for the Degree of Diploma and Bachelor of Theology. The event concluded with a closing prayer led by Pastor Peter Basumatary of Kachari Baptist Church.
