DIMAPUR, MARCH (MExN): The FGN Kedage, Vekronu Dozo, in a message on occasion of the 67th Naga Republic Day, recalled how the Federal Government of Nagaland (Khunak Ngü Khüm) was established for the Naga nation on March 22, 1956 at the 1st Session of the Tatar Hoho at Parashan Rengma Region.
However, he expressed sadness that the Naga people, today, instead of celebrating the day with joy, are suffering under the grip of the Arms Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA). While calling for introspection by all Nagas, he said that the NNC/FGN is ready to solve the Indo-Naga political conflict while upholding Naga sovereignty.
