DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 6 (MExN): The Dimapur Press Club (DPC) and Kohima Press Club (KPC) have mourned the passing of Chubala Kichu, mother of DPC’s General Secretary, Akangjungla Longchar on September 6.
A condolence message from DPC said late Chubala Kichu breathed her last on the morning of Wednesday in Dimapur after a prolonged illness, leaving behind a legacy of love, care, and enduring strength. The DPC extended heartfelt condolences to Akangjungla and her family during this extremely difficult time and prays that the soul of the deceased rests in eternal peace.
The KPC said late Chubala Kichu was a courageous woman who battled cancer with strength, courage, faith and positivity ever since she was diagnosed in February 2019. Her positive spirit will continue to inspire us and we pray that her loving memories will help the bereaved family find peace and comfort, the KPC condolence message read.
