Zunheboto, June 16 (DIPR): The monthly Zunheboto District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of June was held on June 15 at DC’s Conference Hall. The meeting was chaired by Parliamentary Secretary, Jails, S&T, NKVIB, S. Hukavi Zhimomi.
The meeting deliberated on the forthcoming Platinum Jubilee of the establishment of Zunheboto town and decided to form an organising committee to constitute various committees for the grand celebration. It also discussed various issues including land issue pertaining to new DC office construction where EE, PHED, Er. Kitoshe presented a land status report to the members.
The meeting also approved change of nomenclature of GMS Amiphoto to Asu Ghukiye School, Grants in Aid to Hillto School, Akuluto, construction of retaining wall at DSO (Statistical), construction of drainage at Khuwaboto colony, assistance for renovation of hostel at Zunheboto Goverment College were forwarded to concern department for approval.
Medical Superintendent, Hezukhu Memorial District Hospital, Dr. Kheshito Zhimomi presented a power point presentation on the activities of the medical department. Secretary, DPDB, N. Hasa highlighted the LADP 2017-18 which were approved by the members.
