Kiphire, October 9 (DIPR): The monthly meeting of District Planning & Development Board (DPDB), Kiphire was held on October 5 at Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall, Kiphire.
The Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire, Sedevikho Khro, who was the chairperson, informed the board that seed exchange programme-cum-seminar in the district at Kiphire HQ will be hosted by the Akehta Sangtamlaru Thsingmujang (AST).
The board also discussed agendas on repairing of approach road to sub jail which was affected by recent incessant rain. The board requested the PWD to look into the matter. Proposal for registration of Seyochung Village Government Employees Union was discussed. The board after thorough deliberation decided to forward the same to the Government for necessary action. Application for financial assistance to Mecedonian Prayer House submitted through the DPDB Chairman was discussed. However, in the absence of chairman of the board, the same could not be discussed and therefore was redirected to the chairman for necessary action from his end.
