Tuensang, February 16 (MExN): The District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Tuensang held its monthly meeting under the Chairmanship of Shelley Katiry, ADC Tuensang at DC’s conference hall Tuensang on February 15.
After reviewing the last month’s meeting minutes, the house discussed on the agendas for Registration of Better Livelihood Konya Village society and Shalom Welfare Society. PowerPoint Presentations on Departmental Activities was presented by the Land Resources Department, Tuensang.
During discussion, Dr Imlitemsu Ozukum, CMO Tuensang appealed to the Board members to contribute for the TB Patients of Tuensang to purchase Nutrition under Nikshay Mitra. The house welcomed Nyanthung Lotha SS NST as its Member.
Shamator: Shamator DPDB meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner of Shamator, Chubatemjen, NCS on February 14. The meeting commenced with greeting from the chair followed by review of previous meeting agendas.
During the meeting, the Board approved various agendas such as: Proposal for construction of DC Bungalow; Restoration of Circular Road from PHED Ward- St Xavier Colony to NAP Ward.; Proposal for New Police outpost at Yakor Village jurisdiction; Registration of Labour& Skill Welfare Society and Shojang Welfare Society, and Proposal for construction of New BDO office and Quarter at RD Block Shamator.
Mon: The Mon District Planning & Development Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman DPDB, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS at DCs’ conference hall, Mon on February 14.
DC Mon welcomed the members present and called upon the new members for self-introduction.
After reviewing the last meeting minutes, DC introduced the application received from Aboi Area Students’ Union for the up-gradation of Science Stream in GHSS Aboi. The house discussed and concluded that the proposal was genuine since science stream institutions are lacking in the district. The members unanimously agreed and forwarded to the concern department for approval. The house also discussed the upgradation of SDO (C) Angjangyang to ADC Hq.
The board also recommended registration of the Mon District Athletics Association and Angjang Consortium Society after all relevant documents were found to be correct and complete.
The house also discussed on the Governor’s visit to the district. In this regard, the DC requested all the Head of departments to be well prepared and present during his visit.
SDO (C), Mon, Ajit Kumar, IAS presented an update on the Inter Departmental Tournament, which is scheduled in this Month. He requested all the officers in charge to be responsible for the work entrusted to their department.
