Peren, September 21 (DIPR): DPDB Peren has approved the LADP 2016-17 for both 6 Tening A/C and 7 Peren A/C. The approval was done during a special meeting of the board held on September 21 at DC conference hall here under the chairmanship of DC & Vice Chairman, DPDB Peren, Zarenthung Ezung.
The chairman also suggested for a mass social work to be conducted all over the district on October 1 to clean up the office premises coinciding with the second anniversary of Swachh Bharat Mission Day, which falls on Sunday, October 2. The board also formed a committee to supervise the mass social work with SDO (C) HQ, Shivam (IAS) as the Convenor.
Convenor of the Inter Departmental Badminton Association Peren proposed to conduct inter departmental tournament. The house deliberated on the issue and agreed to hold the same in Jalukie very soon. The date will be finalized after some days.
SDO (PHED), Ichirang, who is also the President of the Peren District Badminton Association (PDBA), lauded the efforts of the Deputy Commissioner and all the heads of offices and various committees for the successful conduct of the last inter district badminton held in Jalukie.
