Peren, February 7 (DIPR): District Planning and Development Board of Peren held its monthly meeting on February 6 at DC conference hall, new headquarters here under the chairmanship of Peter Lichamo, DC and vice chairman, DPDB Peren. While discussing on the NST bus service, the chairman requested the departments which have not cleared its share to clear it by the end of this month. The chairman also requested the DFO Jalukie, District Soil Conservation Office, EE Irrigation and FC Office and DPO Land Resources department to shift their offices from Jalukie to new district headquarters. Meanwhile, Nandini Pillai, Principal of GHSS Peren, highlighted that the school is in need of a new building since the present building was constructed in the year 1955. After thorough deliberation, the board agreed to recommend construction of the school building to the higher authority.
