DPDB Tuensang discusses bifurcation of ICDS projects

Tuensang, July 27 (MExN): Tuensang District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) held its monthly meeting under the chairmanship of DC and Vice Chairman DPDB, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS at DC's conference hall on July 27.

According to a DIPR report, the Board discussed on the bifurcation of ICDS Sangsangnyu into two projects which was tabled by Nungsang Lemba Chang, president, CKS. He stated that Sangsangnyu ICDS was the biggest project, as it covers 92 angangwadi centers covering the villages of three Constituency Assemblies (51, 53 and 54). The house further approved for the induction of permanent member in DPDB Tuensang from Confederation of Chang Students Union, Tuensang. 

The house discussed agenda for the approval of LADP for the current year of 2020-2021 under 51A/C Noksen, 52 A/C Longkhim Chare, 53 A/C Tuensang Sadar 1, 54 A/C Tuensang Sadar - 11 and 58 A/C Shamator-Chessore. 

The board welcomed new members, BDO Sangsangnyu, Y Hongtan Chinkhong and DFO Tuensang Samom Khelen Singh (IFS). Earlier, the Chairman also thanked the elected members for their contribution of Rs 10 lakh each to COVID Schemes.
